Roadtrip to Cali- Graduation #2

I can't believe how quickly the days are going by. The weekend of Mother's Day, my family took a roadtrip to California to witness our second graduation of the year- Nick's graduation from Law school. It's been a quick three years, but the nerd did it. On our way down, the 'Griswald's' aka- my family- got a flat tire. Luckily, Tyson was there to change it. (I'm so glad I married that stud). So, after a series of unfortunate events- flat tire, finding a new tire in Las Vegas, rush hour, no food- we finally made it to Kristin's apartment. After collecting my little Tykee, we took the drive to Newport where we were staying for the remainder of the time. The last time we went to California, we were unable to meet up with Tyson's fabulous aunt Laurie in Laguna, so this time, we made a conscious effort to see her. We had such a good time in Laguna! Amy and Shayne flew down for their anniversary celebration and were able to meet up with us at the condo. The next day was graduation- a fun filled day of celebration for Nick and his accomplishments, followed by packing their apartment and getting ready for the drive home. I stayed back with Kristin and was able to spend more time in California as the boys spent their last few nights with their daddy before returning home to Utah. It was another quick trip, but we enjoyed ourselves.

For the first time, Mykee got to come. He stole Ty's seat during a gas break.

Love him

Going to find Aunt Laurie!

We ate at a cute little mexican restaurant just about 50 yards away from the beach.
