Tyson's Baptism

For those of you who know both Tyson and I, you are aware he was not a member of the church when we first started dating. We dated for 3 years before he began taking the missionary discussion, and 4 years before he got baptized. This is one of the hardest things both of us have done, but it has changed both of our lives so dramatically. I don't know where I would be without him. As the holiday season inches closer, I am reminded of what I am truly thankful for in life. The love of the Savior, and power of prayer are dear to my heart. I am one of the luckiest girls to be with this man.

Tyson's baptism was absolutely amazing. So many people have known him through out his life as he played several sports growing up. On August 22, 2009, the entire chapel filled with friends and family that were willing and excited to share in this joyous occasion with him. So many people have approached us afterward and mentioned what an amazing story his conversion was. I will forever be grateful to my Heavenly Father for allowing Ty the opportunity, strength, and willpower to be baptized.  He now serves in the young men and is such a great role-model and example to those around him.
