All I want for Christmas is a REAL GOOD TAN!

Last year, my gracious husband bought us a cruise to the Southern Caribbean. It's been a long time coming, but we had such a great time! It was an 11 night cruise, which is a great amount of time, that consisted of 6 stops. Each port was beautiful and unique in its own way.

Day 1: Flying to Florida!

My mother-in-law is such a giving person. She gave us a card and told us not to open until we were at the airport- inside was $100 for us to use on something we wouldn't normally do! Thanks!

Ty's dinner at the Hilton.

Day 2: Getting ready to board the ship!

Ty's breakfast at the Hilton

Something we love doing in Florida- catching lizards!

Beautiful view

Waiting at the pier

Ty's exciting face boarding the ship

Love us some lifeboat drills

Sister ship

Day 3: First formal night

Day 4: at sea- watching some football on the deck!

Day 5: Welcome to Aruba!

Banana Party Bus!

Quick tour of one side of the island

Our ticket to the pirate ship

Beautiful beaches of Aruba

So unique

Our Pirate ship

Beautiful, warm water

On the Pirate ship, getting ready to snorkel!

Dream house!

Hoppin in for some great snorkeling

He's a babe

This guy told Ty he used to be his color 9 months ago. ha!

So in love with him

Amazing tour

We took the tour from the ship excursions- but they were absolutely amazing! If you are ever in Aruba, make sure to visit them! Jolly Pirates Aruba

Day 6: Beautiful Bonaire

Ty found a ranger in Bonaire :)

The beautiful streets

Cute little restaurant on the water

The water was absolutely gorgeous!

Found an amazing gelato shoppe! I had a combo of mango and coconut, and it was the creamiest coconut I've ever tasted!

I give Gio's a thumbs up!

Great little store had a 'men's corner'. I think more stores in the US need to incorporate this.

Decorative sidewalks

My kind of Christmas Tree

Old Battle-station on their main station

They had by far the best market- no annoying vendors, and in a quant little area of town.

Beautiful rocks

Water was so warm. Everywhere we went, there were turquoise fish with yellow fins, the brightest fish I've ever seen! Absolutely beautiful and would love to go back to snorkel!

My shirt was flying away :)

Amazing

Beautiful

Day 7: Lush and beautiful Grenada!

Photo-bomb by the English guy

Their Soccer Stadium they are so proud of!

They actually carried fruit on their head in a basket. Really neat to see.

Getting ready to hike to the waterfalls!

This, my friends, is cocoa.

Bamboo

Kind of a steep hike

We made it!

Decided to jump

The water was warm, and it was fun to jump off. The top waterfall was a little too high and had too many sharp rocks for us to jump off.

This sweet girl sold us some spices. She's 10.

This was where the murder of the prime minister took place. Not sure of the whole story, but I got that much!

Day 8: Barbados

Post snorkel- great shipwreck and lots of colorful fish

Beautiful beach

"Beverly Hills' of Barbados

On our 4 x 4 tour of the island. Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking!

Our guide mentioned that a driveway lined with palm trees was a sign of wealth

Our new friend- he was so tiny

Snack Shack

We would love to come back

Day 9: Antigua

HA!

We got bombarded by vendors at this shopping center.

Antigua had a ton of colorful shops, but the vendors were very pushy and rude.

Beautiful water!

As our ship sailed away, we noticed there were plenty of secluded, quiet beaches we could have visited. That is definitely something to do on our next cruise.

Day 10:

Mini-golfin and relaxin on the ship

Day 11: Labadee, Haiti

This is the cruise lines private area. It was absolutely gorgeous! Nice and quiet, sunny, and relaxing time on the beach!

He's a stud.

Our last formal night

Day 12: Sea day back to Florida

This was the last thing to accomplish on our list. While we were slowly making our way back to Florida, we decided to go rock climbing. SO MUCH FUN!

Ty and I had such a great time together. It was just the two of us that went, but we couldn't've asked for a better trip. We met a lot of people, and were able to do things we loved to do.

Our last bit of sun before the end of the trip :(

His last meal

My FAVE!

I ate his :)

Getting off the ship is the worst part.

Goodbye Sun, hello Utah! I'm so sad it's over. We honestly had the best time, and it was great for us to spend a little time together. I have such a loving and caring husband that is willing to try new things and go on new adventures! Next stop, Kauai!
