It's definitely been a while. Tyson and I have been quite busy working on a new project, Eternal Summer Boutique. A lot of people that already know about the boutique have been asking a lot of question - like why did you do this? What's the point?
To be honest, building a skin care clientele is extremely difficult. Since graduating in August, I've slowly built my clientele, advertising on Facebook and through word of mouth. It definitely isn't where I want it to be, but I've come to understand it's a work in progress. So, that brings me to Eternal Summer Boutique. I started the boutique for a few reasons.
1. Get my mind off of constantly trying to figure out how to promote and gain new clientele when its purely through word of mouth that my business is referred!
2. I LOVE to shop! So why not!?
3. I want to bring affordable, fashionable clothing to those that don't like what they find in the mall, or can't make it out to the mall because of their careers, kids, or just busy lives in general.
This idea had been stirring with me for quite some time and then I presented it to my husband. Ty has always been so supportive of every goal I make and this one was no different. Before I knew it, I had a business name, a license, a website well under way, and clothing being shipped. I couldn't believe how quickly everything came together - must have been a sign.
We've had Eternal Summer Boutique for about a month and so far, it's been going great! We have learned a lot since we first came up with the idea, but I could only expect as much. I'm very excited to see where this company takes me, and I enjoy spending my extra time marketing, researching and ordering the products I see fit for my company.
If you'd like, please take a look at the website and give suggestions! We LOVE constructive criticism as long as it improves the look and performance :)
Eternal Summer Boutique Website
I do need to credit the website, photography and design to my amazing husband, Tyson. Without him I would be a silly Facebook site company.
